Beginning on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, we will temporarily provide Sickle Cell Medical Home Day Clinic care and hematology appointments at the following location while we undergo renovations to better serve you, and make sure your medical home environment is more comfortable. The expected time for the renovation is 60 days.

One of only a few Sickle Cell Day Centers in the country, we offer a comprehensive approach to the management of acute and chronic sickle cell syndromes.

About Our Sickle Cell Day Center

Memorial's Sickle Cell Day Center (formerly Sickle Cell Day Hospital) can assist patients in the management of their condition to avoid acute, painful crises and other complications of sickle cell syndromes. Before pain becomes a problem, patients can call for medical help, schedule appointments for treatment, or make arrangements to go to an emergency department.

The Memorial Sickle Cell Day Center is the first program of its kind in the nation to receive “Disease-Specific Certification” from The Joint Commission.
