Our Memorial Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists (perinatologists) are experts in the field of pregnancy complications for mother and baby. If you require MFM care, rest assured that you’re in skilled hands. We provide our patients with a unique blend of family-centered culture and cutting-edge medical care to meet both mom and baby’s needs.

If your OB/GYN refers you to our MFM team, we are committed to working side-by-side with your physician to manage your care. In certain situations, your OB/GYNs could recommend that our MFM team assume prenatal care to monitor your baby’s health. If that’s the case, we will take great care of you and your little one.

In case our high-risk pregnant moms need coordinated care from multiple pediatric specialties, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital provides on-site, Level II and/or Level III NICU care for newborns with complications at our three locations. If something unexpected should happen, some of the most experienced maternity staff, physicians and neonatology specialists are only footsteps away, around-the-clock.

The Wasie NICU at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (connected to Memorial Regional Hospital) is a Level II and Level III, and one of only 11 Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers in Florida.

The on-site NICU at Memorial Hospital West and Memorial Hospital Miramar are both Level II.
